Are any of the casing welds being x-rayed

I was just wondering if any of the casing welds were being x-rayed.  Pipeline weld require x-ray and a measure to insure integrity but, I do not know if the same requirement is true for the well casings.

RT Guy,

 

The well casing is screwed together, then cemented, therefore no x-ray is needed.

 Thank you for the info, I worked some gas storage caverns near Bath, NY a few years back, the well casing were welded is why I posted the questions.  I perform industrial x-ray and with the lack of manufacturing and fabricating in the Northeast it's getting tough to make a living.
