I found the above article cruising the energy page of realclearpolitics.com. Every time I see this Heckbert character on this site I think about Algore and his idiotic environmentalist stances and predictions.
I also know that these leftists are really anti-capitalist and anti-American, they lie and lie, and then lie some more.
For every truth they rarely tell there are a litany of lies, half truths and obfuscations.
I also remember barakHUSSEINobama in 2008 running for president saying:
— Barack Obama on Wednesday, July 30th, 2008 in Springfield, Mo.
The only thing more absurd than the statement he made was Politifact actually backing it up:

So, you have a choice and most of us make the right one. The problem is the few who do not are the loudest in denouncing the rest of us.
Sad part is that environmentalism is a worthy cause and these people neuter the cause with their abhorrent behaviors.

So Jerry, are my actions the cause of the divide or a result, thereof? I believe that we must protect ourselves - the government isn't going to do it for me. Handing my son over to the current education system in this country would be the equivalent to feeding him nothing but processed junk food for the next 15 years.
jerry,
The divide is more one of perception than actual fact.
Yes there are those who have more wealth, but this does not prevent others who have less wealth from creating more.
The ability for one to move up socially and economically still exists and this is the basis of liberty bestowed upon us by the framers of the Constitution.
It is the socialist/communist propaganda that promotes class warfare, the rich have more because they stole it from someone else. That's nonsense. To believe that you would have to believe that wealth is a static amount; when in reality you can always create more wealth and the amount of wealth grows. So a poor middle class person still has the opportunity in this country to create their own wealth. That's the beauty of our system.
Further,
The fact that some folks are prospering more than others right now has nothing to do with capitalism as a system.
It is the perversion of the system, and that perversion is assumed to be caused by the Republicans that have been the cause. When in fact it is the present Democrat Administration. Barak Obama instituted "Quantatative Easing" supposedly to stabilize the economy, In theory it sounds good. The banks get cheap money to lend at low rates in order to stimulate the economy that is B.S. What has really occurred is the fleecing of the Treasury by the Obama Administration. They have loaned money at 0% interest to their banker friends who in turn invested it in the stock market (not the economy) then they take some of their profits and donate it to the Obama campaigns and others like Hillary Clinton.
It's just amazing, right now you have Clinton running around the country claiming to be the one who will protect us all from the evil Wall Street bankers, when in fact she is owned 100% by them. I am not a fan of Bernie Sanders, but he is right on the money calling her out for her Wall Street connections.
The problem we have, right now, with capitalism is too much government intervention.
And don't get me started on how Bill Clinton payed off his Wall Street friends by repealing Glass-Steagall.
Barry D "gets it". :) And Jerry supports Sanders, right? 'nuf said...
jerry,
You are either being intentionally deceptive or you are extremely naive.
The Chairman of the Fed is an appointee of the President and serves at his pleasure.
Quantatative Easing is an Obama Administration policy carried out by the lap dog Chairman.
That is all I have to say to you.
I see that you are an anti-Semite and I have no tolerance for bigotry of any kind.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
