Has anyone really looked into this pooling?

From what my attorney has found you may be tied into a lease that can never be renegotiated meaning you will only get the original money for signing a lease and never get more than your royalties after that which do not amount to much after all their costs.

I think that would be the objective of every company that signs a lease with a landowner.  They don't want to pay you a 2nd time if they don't have too. Make sure you can live with the lease you sign, it will probably be the last lease you sign on that particular parcel.
