Cx energy has a great proven track record over the past year or so, they got deals done in mercer county that were very good for landowners. I haven't followed them in Crawford county but hope someone gets something rolling in the next 3-6 months, I have 136 acres of unleashed, undrilled property that I am hoping to sign up as soon as someone steps up with a decent offer. I hear there is some activity starting to heat up towards the conneautville area and all of my property is within 2 miles of this area.

If I drive over to the site and the surveyors are there will they talk me or tell me to go away?

Jesse, Thanks I'm very interested how close they come to my line, or if they go the other direction away from me.

the two of us;  Very hard to predict. Every county is different and depends on how many companies are interested and how bad they want it. Also depends on the group. We present them the offers we get and let them decide on accepting the best one  or not.

Here is my next question....Once Range gets an approved permit in Greenwood twp how does one find out the unit size and land boundary of this unit?

Bob/Jesse,

This one I'm talking about will not show up on the DEP web site yet. That's why they are surveying it. Once they get all the info compiled then they will apply for a permit. (I guess this is how it all works).

Jim Do you think you can get a deal like that for Crawford
County? Thanks

bob,

go to google maps type in Bradley Road, Greenwood Township, PA. They are surveying this square. Also the Meadville tribune did an article last month stating Bradley Road as the location.

the two of us; look at the Mercer deal. The best offer I know of was $3300/acre and 17%. Our landowners will receive $3619 after our fees are deducted or $319 more per acre. So if one has 50 acres, that would $15,950 more to the landowner.  More than double that, since no fees will be taken from the second payment, if and when they renew the lease after five years. Add in the added value of 18.5% no deduction royalty plus added value of other addendum n the lease and the value should several thousand more per acre over the life of the lease/wells drilled.
