Jim, Will you answer the questions I asked specifically? Company names you have signed with out of the 150 you work with? Bonus Payment, Royalty % and if I join with you and get a better offer do I still have to pay you a %?  And has CX ever gotten anything close to the $5800 that the grassroots all volunteer ALOV group received?  I think these are all important questions that deserve an honest answer. And by the way, I see Janice Hancharick stated that she has been to several of CX meetings. Does that have anything to do with the fact that on the back of your pamphlet It says she is Landowner and group Leader 4- County Group? Just wondering

Rex.............if you are referring to CX as a "professional company" ..please give me a break............they are pure and simple middlemen flippers who bring nothing unique or substantial to being able to market acreage. They print pretty maps, pretty fliers, and promise the world to landowners to get them to sign. After the 6 months come and go, they go back to the landowners with all kinds of excuses and even bigger "promises" in order for them sign extensions. Prior to the gas/oil boom what where these guys doing?!?!?!

Landowners......get a decent oil and gas attorny......pay is hourly fee and do it on your own! You'll have control of YOUR land and not be burdened with large fees and misinformation and shallow promises from the middleman flippers..........

This is getting tiring.  If people don't want to pay a professional company 6% to do what they do, that's fine.  Stick with your landowner groups but quit running other people or companies down because of your preference.  I have yet to decide which way I want to go with my land but if there's this much bickering, I'll do it myself just so I don't have to hear it.

c'mon p umpjack....take the bet

Comment by p umpjack on April 9, 2012 at 2:11pm

as I have stated to take that bet

you would take 6% from the restaurant no tip that would be absorbed by the restaurant and then you would want a 90 day extension to pay

last time I saw you you couldn't valet park your escalade at the franklin quality inn

David Hunt; Cx has done deal with multiple companies. The deals vary by area, company, and timing.  But in every case, they got the highest rate going at the time and got great lease terms. I only mentioned the Mahoning Co deal since Mr Black said the BP deal was better than ours in Mercer. I was showing that offers vary considerably from one county to the next. It was not a Cx deal.

We have always represented landowners and done our best to protect their land and their rights. And we have been successful at that.

We ask for exclusive rights for six months.  That shows commitment to our group which the  E & Ps like to see. If you do not like the deal you don't have to sign and you will owe nothing. If you sign and your land does not clear title, you will owe nothing. We take all the risk.  Your organization takes upfront fees that are non-refundable thus putting all the risk on the landowner.

Diamond Jim

evidently you are like the carpetbaggers that invaded the south to pillage everything for the north during the civil war(c-x co exprise mopo the lawyer group)

they sign with you for all stratas, close to end of lease get held by a shallow 4 ever

or extensions till you get your big money for deep

wow what a stretch to affiliate your self with the big numbers 5800 per acre after you led your neighbors and friends to coex

again you never say how much you made dragging your neighbors to mt jackson deal

c'mon man............your a carpet bagger set up man for the lawyers

your a back end deal guy, I make nothing on the upfront, your a back end poser    DUDE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
