Yup, nothin down there at all landowners, and we are building a 24 inch pipeline to put all that nothing in.

It seems like this is a lot of speculation based on insufficient, but interesting, information.  Selling 100+ barrels of oil in February and 9500+ MCF of gas in April, nothing in March, throw in a span of time of re-flaring sometime in the spring does not represent a pattern.  I guess speculation is fun.  I will post the next report when it comes.  I am guessing it will look different than the first two and may still not represent a pattern.  Also, still keeping my day job.

Good luck, guys. I'll bet you'll be saying the same things a year from now, with nothing more to show for it. You haven't been through it before, and I have. You'll drive yourselves crazy waiting and wondering.

They also don't lay pipelines for the fun of it.

That's competition, they'll do or say anything to one up thats other guys. They know how to bend the rules and laws.

I wouldn't call this conspiratorial.

I would just call it business as usual / standard operating procedure (sop).

That's a shame too as it seems to me that 'business as usual / standard operating procedure (sop)' has become a contest of how well you can mis-lead / pull the wool over the eyes of all the rest.

IMHO

Three insiders at Halcon reported buying 1.9 million shares yesterday, July 2nd, now why would they do a thing like that? The only area they are in that remained a question mark for them was the Utica Shale.

Classic fox guarding the henhouse scenario if you ask me (the cynic).

There are many laws and many loopholes in the many laws.

There are likewise many trained Professionals looking for those loopholes all of the time.

Estimates of production and future production are estimates.

Are there laws against coming up with and reporting a 'conservative estimate' or a 'liberal estimate' ?

Hard to figure out what to believe these days.

I think there's a big landowner beat down going on - and it's not fun to think about either.

I think big money can afford to wait for enhanced profits in the future.

I think big money isn't above mis-leading those it has to pay.

IMHO

Halcon borrowed $600,000,000 at 10.25 % , part of the stated use was pipelines in northern Mercer county. Nobody pays 10.25 % on $600,000,000 on a "hunch"
