Regarding CX and NWPALG (and all acreage groups)...

If their purpose is to get their associates leased at $5000 per acre and 20% royalty (arbitrary, but an accurate statement of the goal), and the market is offering only 2 to 3 grand, and fee simple sale right now, they're not going to "get something done for us".  They're especially not going to get it done if they're selling into a market "owned" by a single big monopoly holder who's still holding out for and drilling on $500/acre land.  Let's let them know that "getting something done" could also include forming a joint venture to make a big enough pool to maybe have some power equity vis-a-vis the 800 pound gorilla.  Comparing them to "the county" is less useful than comparing them to RRC, Shell, Halcon HBP.  But at the end of the day, I agree with Sam that we need to wait for the end of quite a few more days.  Going it alone won't change a thing for any of us.

I have read they have been going to some different oil/gas expo, but it doesnt matter where they go if they get no results? It seems like after the Mercer county disaster, they no longer can draw the interest from companies like they once could. I still have about the same amount of time left before I can pull out, they better get something done in the next few months or im firing them, lol.

I agree, I think CX has lost their luster. I think I am also going to bail on them soon. They havent done anything for me yet.

I hear there was a well or 2 set not too far from us over towards Espyville - Linesville?

Have not been up to our place over on Hucklberry outside Adamsville since early December.  Any activity so far as leasing going on in that area?  75 unleased acres I would like to do something with at some point.

What I notice is that sometimes when I check "My Groups" which happen to be Mercer, Crawford and Venango counties, the Crawford county site will say "Latest Activity" - X number of minutes ago, but when I actually check the site to look for the post or comment, there has been nothing posted within days or hours let alone minutes.  It's happened several times???

Why are the comments on this page not showing up ? Has anyone heard from NWPALA lately ?

Jesse, it was Fernwood who made the offer.

Again, to clarify, the $4,000 per acre was for a 46 acre parcel we own that is unleased.
