I just found a couple of Dominion investor presentations from Mar. 4, '13 covering their plans for LNG exportation and anticipating approval this year. Also speaks about the Blue Racer Midstream project extending thru NW Mercer co, and SW Crawford co. I'm putting the link on and its the 'Dominion Investor Analyst mtg' and the 'Dominion-Caiman Utica JV' presentations. Pipelines are heading our way.....

As of Thursday night when I did a drive by the Staab well, the rig was still up and I think they are still drilling

The Staab well is rigging-up today. Deck & generators were there last night and derrick & tanks were pulling in this morning. Should start drilling ASAP!
Got this off another area of the crawford site.
Thanks Berk I may take a drive by Staab tomorrow
I think the Staab, Byler and Stevenson (Northern Mercer County) will really start to shape the southern part of Crawford into the areas of oil and wet gas.,but wells will still be needed north of Meadville to located the end of the point pleasant. As far as the Staab well I believe (could be very wrong) it is either currently being FRACKED or in it's resting period.
I believe the Staab well will define Halcons map of High GOR,
I know theres info posted somewhere about this well ,Will someone please update this thread?
Bob,
You stated "If you have ROW, make sure you get fair compensation for letting them do any expansion." I would guess that most of the people that signed the ROW 10 or so years ago didn't have any line restrictions. What I'm saying is Williams probably can lay down a big line right on top of or beside the one already in the ground without any further discussion with the land owners as long as they stay within the original ROW. I'm basing that on the leases that were signed at the same time with very little landowner protection.
Jesse
I'm just going by Berks link a page or so back in this discussion.Google Crawford county in maps.I am using 6 miles due west of Meadville and drawing an imaginary line SW thru the county, approximately 20 miles either side of that line Halcon calls high gas to to oil ratio, according to that map the Point Pleasant ends about Albion area
Did I mention that I stayed at e holiday inn once?
here in columbus township in warren county we have been aproached by a group called rapid realestate solutions they want 10$ of our bonus money up to2700and 50% of the bonus above that plus all royaltys above 15% i think ya all should watch and be careful with crooks like this.western pa gas leasing sounds like real good people hope they come to are area to help us out
Things are looking up a bit. I was on the DEP permit site and saw that 2 vertical wells were permitted back on 3/13/13 by Kastle. I google-earthed the lat/lon and the sites are just East of Conneautville. Should provide great core samples and better define the PP. One can always pray for wet gas/oil and nice pressures. I'm not sure if Kastle stays with vertical wells, but from some of the info on the site here, sounds like they could always go horizontal with them as well. Keep your fingers crossed......

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
