Landman from US ENERGY EXPLORATION contacted me about leasing my property today. They are looking to lease the Medina, not the Utica/Marcellus. Offered $50 an acre just for the Medina. Anyone else contacted by this company?

Jesse-I agree. I sold the 58 Ac. farm and kept everything below 500 feet. Let someone else pay the taxes. Maybe my kids will reap the rewards.

DeanG with 500 acres you can make money until the gas people come. Message me if you want to talk i also have property near titusville.

We have 500 acres near Titusville. I don't expect that it would be anything soon but it gets discouraging when you hear so many contradicting stories. Lately, its all been pretty negative.  I didn't know there was an additional type of gas.  That is encouraging at least.

I haven't been on here for a while, but I was just checking in because I heard another rumor today that this area (Crawford County) "the shale shelf that contains the "gold rush" gas doesn't extend to our area". I have heard so many things..Range told me last month that it would not be like Washington County here but they are still planning on drilling 3-5 years. Just looking for thoughts of those who know more than I do. Thanks.
