Comment by Jim Litwinowicz on February 3, 2013 at 5:08am Berk; do you know what depths these added wells will be drilled? Seems some companies are hitting the Upper D and getting good results. After they drill the first one and get back the core sample studies they drill into several strata.

Comment by jim hall on February 2, 2013 at 5:29pm Berk, I can't find out anything about the Lippert Well either. I did hear some new info of Crawford Co. this morning though. Halcon is going to build two pads near Linesville in the very near future. A friend of mine works for Hawbaker Const. who builds Halcons pads. He is moving equipment there next week. When I hear more details from him I will post.
Comment by Berk on February 2, 2013 at 2:09pm Is the Lippert well still flaring? I can't believe no one knows anything about the results of this well. Range must keep their information dam close to their chest.
There is a site where you can vote on whether you think the drilling will go on for 100, 200, 300, 500 or 1000 years. I am surprised that this kind of thing can be decided by a vote.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
