Way to go Berk. Here's a little more skinny in our area.Hawbaker Const. who builds Halcon's pads are starting the second one near Espyville tomorrow Jan 6.Hawbaker is to start building the Heckman pad in Union Twp. in Feb.Supposedly the only thing holding them up on this one is an "Environmental Impact Statement"

Well I'll try to awaken the dead cat. Lake Road and Atlantic Road are very busy with trucks bringing in equipment to the well south of Atlantic (Byler well). They brought in the big rig Thursday night. I would also think the 60 day shut-in should be up for the Range well north of Cochranton. I wonder when they will release any info on this. I have high hopes for all of these first wells in Crawford county. I also saw an ad on line for pipe line workers (welders, heavy equipment operator) for this area had a P.O Box number Meadville. No company name mentioned.

Happy New Year to All!

If your 2013 resolution is to get a lease, I wish you at least 5 grand, 20%, and cash on the barrelhead:-)

If your 2013 resolution is to be drilled, I wish you a gusher:-)

If your 2013 resolution is to protect the environment, I wish you lots of green:-)

And if your 2013 resolution is to just keep watching and waiting, I look forward to your interesting posts to this forum:-)

Thanks for an interesting and informative 2012.

sam,it was my understanding that guardian was doin business for halcon but if i recall someone on this site rebutted that statement?? i'm not sure of what was signed but i was given a copy of a 37 adendum lease that was supposed to be what they were all signing. i chose not to do business with them and wait for the real deal. you'll know it when it comes . if it ever does. IMO.

They sound like outright crooks. Who are the principals in this outfit? Were they just a bunch of thieves getting signed leases and hoping to flip them for a profit? Do they own any rigs? Have they drilled any wells?  Who are the "investors" that backed out? Were the documents you signed a real lease or just an option to lease? I am on your side, but did anyone do any sort of due diligence on Guardian?

was talkin with a few neighbors who signed with guardian exploration and got a good lease. only 1 problem. guardian is not paying now and useing the excuse they lost their investors. no one who signed with them is going to be paid. anyone know of this also?
