why do people protect these very people that are screwing them. put them out there so others dont make a mistake in the future. expose these companys !!!!! everyone wants to be hush hush like if i say something on this forum i wont get the well. news flash people you need me just like i need you. and the o&g companies need all of us at some point in this game.

Still waiting for my release, as we were told the friday before payment was due that we were being released.  The 30 business days that they have to respond isn't up yet.  We signed the lease back in May and they had 120 business days to pay with an additional 30 business to pay or release after that.  You don't realize how long that time actually is till you don't get paid.

Don't wait too long Rex. In the lease we signed with another company,  we had a statement that if we weren't paid by our date, we had to notify them in writing to either pay or send us a release.  Since it didn't look like we were going to be paid, we had the attorney send the letter, so they received it on our payout date.

No,  they had 60 total days.  Their standard lease was 60 business days.

I'm not too worked up yet.  It's only been a week past the deadline.

i ventured onto bradford county site cause i seen people recieved royalty checks.. but to no surprise they are getting hosed. chesapeke got them to sign net leases. 34 to 37 percent is what they lost by not being represented.so to all you hard headed why should i pay someone for whats mine? WELL THERE YA HAVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rex. When I signed with shell for our butler county
Property's . They paid us in 90 days. (90 banking
Days) than was like 120 days. Could this be same for you.

Rick, I signed a little over 2 months ago.  We gave them 60 days to pay which they normally don't do.

It has always amazed me that in PENNA you can engage in Land Leaseing without any type of licenising or regulation?  Anyone care to expain why that is?   Who governs / controls / regulates what these folks can and cannot do?
