Thanks for the info on the Allam and Rainbow wells. Does anyone have any info on the sandy creek conservancy well? I haven't seen any site preparation, just signs up. Thanks
thx I just got done with Professor Peabody and the way-back machine....
p umpjack, LOL, and how true!...lmao
I guess if a new poster shows up with the moniker Fred Garvin we will know Sam has changed his posting name
To Debbie and JR : Thanks for updates on Allam well! To Debbie: JR has a warped but finely honed sense of humor.
The temporary bridge is back in place and the water line is ready to go. Tanker trucks will be hauling water starting this afternoon. Projected Allam frack start date is next Thursday if all goes according to plan.
Debbie, Sam is calling you too? And here I thought I was his one and only source...<sniff> <sniff> lol
Since Sam keeps calling for info, here is what I know. Prior to fracking at Allam, a water tank will be built on the site with a similar one built at Rainbow. There will be a temporary water line which will connect the two. I do not know how far along the tank building process is. (They were moving a trailer type office down there earlier this week.) The water pipeline is currently progressing. You can see it going under Valley Road at the junction of Rainbow and down the side of Rainbow and up into the woods on the other side of valley. Some days it progresses a lot and some days a little. It will be hung onto the bridge on Rainbow Rd in order to get over the creek, but since the bridge is out...well, who knows that time frame. Their original time frame was to construct the water line, use to frack Allam, then use to frack Rainbow and take it away in about 12 months.
Thanks to Berk for posting that report. Page 20 echoes what I'd already seen going on and learned from others, infrastructure needs are the limiting factors right now.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
