For those Shalers following the lawsuit brought against Cabot O & G by residents of Dimock, PA, some initial rulings by the Federal Court's Judge Jones have largely gone against the defendant.  Cabot had sought to dismiss or otherwise strike several of the plaintiff's claims. I was told by my land man that I can receive a tax deduction for land disturbance. Is this true or is he misinformed?

I have a letter from Chesapeak with the content of consumptive water use. I am not under lease with Chesapeak, however they name me on their site location map. Does this mean we will be drilled under or is it just a notice given to all aera land owners ????

ran into geokinetics truck last week in overton twshp. said they were picking up sensors n lines from completed testing done there in the fall. but just found new bags/sensors, n lines laid out across r proprtys adjacent to game lands there... anybody know what's happening to req additional testing in a concentrated
