300+ Bradford County Reclamation Seminar

Saturday night I was the key note speaker at the 4th Annual Bradford County Trophy Deer & Bear Club banquet. I gave a seminar to 315+ on reclaiming Marcellus developments for white-tailed deer and other wildlfie. The crowd was great and I was impresed with the leadership of the club. 5% Becoming the Norm??

I am seeing a disturbing trend of 5% becoming the norm for negotiation fees. Beyond lost income, I do see disadvantages with paying someone a % of your bonus and/or royalties to negotiate your lease for you. One, they aren't doing anything that you can't do with a good attorney reviewing lease language. Two, if the gas companies want your land, they’re going to find you.
