A friend in Stark county received a letter from Weston Solutions to get her water tested.  She questioned them and there is a well going in just north of her.  They have started the work on the site.  How do we find a map to see if she is included in the unit?  I would assume because they tested her water that she would be, but that I suppose is not a guarantee.  Thank you for the great info posted!

The Smith well got permitted Jan. 30. It is on the ODNR web site.  (A different link than the one Marcus attached, possibly) The Smith well pad is prepped and thousands of tons of gravel have been placed on the pad site.

Are you talking about the Calla Rd well? I think it's the Jarvis unit, but I could be wrong. That pad has been done for weeks and activity is to start within the next 30 days. Still, that data point is a solid 6-8 months from being a usable indicator.

The Smith well is in Paris Twp. on Baymont Rd. which is off of Fox Ave.

Took a ride up yesterday!  WOW.... Is that a lake they will be putting in beside the pad?  That seems to be a completely new road to get up there... Tons and tons of gravel!  The site is so large, I thought that the pad is usually around 5 acres.  The lake alone looks to be that size!  They were even out there yesterday working, I thought it would be quiet on a Saturday.  We pulled up "Hosterman" on the stark auditor's website, and he owns property just south of the Smith unit.  On Fox Ave.  Seems to make sense that if they are bringing in a rig to do Smiths, they would just move the rig down the road a mile to keep it in the same area.

I beleive that "lake" that you saw is the well pad. I did not see any pond site yet on the property. There are also rumors (and surveying stakes) of wells on Warren Rd.(on Rosenberger  property just northwest of Smith) and also Crowl Rd. close to 183, both in Paris Twp.
