Driving down SR 255 on friday to go to the Sardis Fire Dept. fish fry I saw a sign for entrance to Triad Hunter Stalder well.  So I go to ODNR permit list and find no info.  Does anybody know why this well would not be listed under Marcellus or Utica wells?

ODNR is about 3 months behind on their site.

John I checked it out but it still looks way behind to me.  The Hall well thats listed as drilling was completed in Oct.  The Whitacre 701 has 1 producing and 1 drilling and they are on well 6 on that pad.

Didn't stop to write down the Permit #, but as I recall, all it said was "Triad Hunter Stalder well".

Jay, yes that appears to be the Stalder location but notice that permit expired in 4/2011;  and it also says ND which I assume is not drilled  my assumption is a new permit is needed--is that right or wrong?

And yes, Magnum Hunter purchased Virco and Triad Hunter is Magum's drilling unit.

The sign says no.2 or no. 3 i forget which.  About a month ago they approached the county commissioners to make or do work on that road.  That is one of the promised locations out of the Garrison deal in Ohio, Jackson, Lee Lease, however the Tippens well happened as No, 1.

I'll correct my self the sign just says Triad Hunter, Stalder Unit.  As visable this morning they are working on the entrance Lee Twp. road and are dozing a road on the ridge West of the Stalder buildings.  Also noted Apex pipeline has signs on West end of Long Ridge that would appear to be in direction of Dangel well and at end of  Baptist Ridge.  Numerous surface hauling trucks on to West end of Long Ridge also.  Tippens well finished drilling.  Equip moving out all last and this week same equip went West on 255. Would appear it was not going to Stalder unit.  Huge above ground pond on Tippens that was filled from creek.  Appears to have line running up over hill to well and a line running along Benwood Rd to yard.  Wondered if they will truck water away from there?

Magnum Hunter had a conference call today and when asked about Utica drilling, Evans stated that the well to be drilled is a large pad to build as they are drilling one marcellus well with eight laterals and one utica well with eight laterals.  Evans anticipates spud date of between April 1 and 15.

Evans didn't call it the Stalder well, but that is where Triad is working.  Anyone driven by it recently?    I am liking this marcellus and utica well on same pad---looking good for the river front area of Monroe County.
