What's in store for us this year?

Hilcorp assigns leases to Shell.

Shell assigns leases to Hilcorp.

Hilcorp assigns leases to Co Exprise.

Shell and Hilcorp both have product being produced and sold so royalty checks will finally start being wrote.

Shell was just issued another permit for the Kephart Pad. (3/26/13) Otherwise current activity is pretty dead.

When are some more pads on other leaseholds going to be started? Maybe 2013 is going to be a slow year?

Please post any information as it is known throughout the year. There sure hasn't been much activity on our site lately.

Maybe some Shell , Hilcorp , and Co Exprise reps. could enlighten us with some news ?

I think it may be the Ambrosia site on Baird Road east of the intersection with Evergreen Road.

can you see disturbed land, ROW?

The N.C.News is running a series of articles pertaining to pipelines in the county. Sounds good for folks leased with Hilcorp , but the name Shell is glaringly absent thus far. What's up with them these days?

Since Shell seems to hold the majority of our county's leases (acreage wise), wouldn't it be nice to hear from or about them? Have they applied for or received any new permits lately?

Is anyone out there willing to share something positive pertaining to Shell....?

Not something positive..Shell has put 7 wells on inactive status recently, 2-Patterson, 1-Twentier, 3-Mayberry, & 1-Kephart..Although I have no idea what "inactive" status means. Maybe someone can explain what that means..

Same story in Butler County. Swepi applied for inactive status on six wells. I don't know what it means either. Would it be the same as being shut-in waiting on a pipeline?

Doesn't sound good. I wonder if the two Patterson wells are the ones that have been selling into the pipeline or the others drilled there?
Wonder how this bodes for us not yet drilled? I have three more years on my lease.

It means dry gas and absent pipelines, major investment for now.

Ron, the Patterson pad has had at least two wells turned in line and selling gas into the adjacent Tennessee (?) pipeline for some time now. I have been puzzled by the fact that the other two wells on this pad have not. Perhaps these wells are too wet and since there is no pipeline yet to accomodate the NGL , these are the ones listed as inactive for now and will sit idle until the cracker is confirmed and they are utilized for feedstock....?

I cannot speak for the other Lawrence County wells in question. They may very well be waiting on pipelines , I do not know. I find it extremely hard to believe that we are an island of dry gas with wet gas and oil being produced to our east (Butler County) , North (Mercer) , West (Mahoning and Columbiana) , and South (Beaver).

Interested to see what transpires as far as Shell is concerned. I believe it all hinges on whether or not the "Cracker" comes to town. If Shell pulls back , I'm sure the void would quickly be filled by someone else or maybe Shell will just continue drilling and get the infrastructure in place to sell their product to the Gulf Coast chemical plants like everyone else. All conjecture on my part. I have my 51+ acres leased to Shell so It's definitely of interest to me. Keeping our fingers crossed!

Rode passed Patterson yesterday, the small drilling rig is back.

Hmmm..... we hear they apply for shut in status and now this....?
I keep hoping to see them drilling new units but they wear out the old ones instead. Wish they would be more open with us , some PR would be nice!

Has anyone heard Shell is drilling into the black river formation at the Patterson? 9000' deep and  over a mile of lateral is what I heard from a reliable source.

I believe this would be 4 formations drilled into from this pad. Gosh , how many plays are we sitting on? Cha ching !!!

Checked the DEP info..It's a "deviated" well sub-facility #'1120860 & 1120861..Both listed as Loysburg Black River formation..I have no idea what any of that means??
