Tom Wolf claims to be a politician who thinks outside the box. A new tax is not thinking outside the box. Landowners and consumers ultimately pay this new tax.

I'm no fan of "der Schlickmeister".  However, he is 100% American and he had that going for him.  I detest having a self-declared American King who is half Kenyan.

For anyone unaware:  President Obama's dad, a Kenyan, never became a citizen of this country and never aspired to becoming an American citizen.  This is no knock on Mr. Obama, Sr..  He loved Kenya, returned there, and served there in the Kenyan government.  There's nothing whatsoever wrong with that.

But American needs to have, as its President, a person with 100% American heritage . . . at least for one generation and preferably for more.  Our current President is 50% Kenyan . . . . . and this stinks.

I'm not a fan of Michelle Obama, either.  But Michelle's American heritage is sterling and unquestioned.  You have to respect that.  There are millions upon millions of black Americans with heritages equal to Michelle's.  Why did the Democrats have to give us somebody who is the rare exception to this!!  It stinks, and it will continue to stink for the next three years.

too bad there's no "like" button on this site. I agree, wj.

The point everyone is missing is that Democrats and Republicans are just opposite sides of the same coin. They are no different, they only want power for themselves and their particular party.

The true alternative is conservatism, federalism, constitutionalism. Find and support candidates that are conservative, not republican or democrat.

How can so many people be so blind. Let's say for example the Acme timber Co. wants to buy my 2 acres of timber. They want to offer me $1000 but they find out they have to go to the township and pay $300 for a permit. Now how much do you think their going to offer me? Every tax, fee, permits etc. as deserving as some might be come out of my pocket. Does anyone follow yet? Every permit for a well they charge $50,000 for would have went in my pocket. Every tax, permit, fees, severance tax or any other name they want to put on it comes out of the pocket of the land owner.
