@ David,or any other NWPA member, do you know if our group, NWPA, has any sort of map showing the locations of all of our acreage that is currently signed up? I would like to see where our large blocks of contiguous acreage is situated. As paid up members I think we should be able to see / have access to such if it is being presented to companies in our negotiations. I was told previously that I could not have this info and I ask why not as a paid up member?
Jesse you probably should have went with NWPA Landowner group. Where you don't have to sign a marketing agreement and the people running it are local that will be here for years and years. People are talking about suing the gas co. But in my opinion whoever wrote the lease dropped the ball by not having the language in there so this could not happen.
Lauren Is the meeting at the Elks on the 18 th still a go or is CX too busy trying to put out the HUGE FIRE in Mercer County?
They are the same "informational" meetings we've been having. Once we start gathering bids we will start having 'member only' meetings
Upcoming CX-Energy Meetings for the Crawford County Landowner group (over 11,000 acres already have joined!):
With respect to the Lippert well, do we have anyone with a view of the well site? After frac-ing will come the flaring. I've read that the size of the flare is a good first measure of the well output, so if we can get a picture of the flare from a well-placed view, and there's an object of known size in said photo, it would seem we could get a good idea as to the output. Don't know if the dry-wet-oil question can be answered by looking at the flare.
Anybody???
Of course, there's always the good ol' rumor mill...:-)
@Sam. This one well may steer the stars of the future and a horrible report could stomp the seeds of progress before they grow in our area. Northern wells in Venango and Mercer counties point to a viable path along the fairway which must to be linked to the Lippert well. I think this "one" well will have an impact on the course drilling takes through our area because its an important part of a drilling strategy heading North. RRC stock is essentially bumping along so its likely RRC will be forthcoming and report forward looking progress to its shareholders as they surely know that's precisely what they demand. If they have favorable results we'll hear something about it at the next shareholders conference call (Assuming they have the data) and we'll know RRC thinks its important by reporting it, thereby allowing the path to continue.
anticipation is great but one well is not likely to be definitive. And you will only hear the results of a well that the company wants to leak our or the law requires. Know that they have different ways of drilling wells and fracking that can make a significant difference. If it is a terrible well or a phenomenal well, maybe you will hear sooner. At nay rate it may not make much difference in the long term scheme of things.
Maybe there is not much point in waiting for what the company or their self elected salesmen have to say. It is important for people to decide for themselves what are fair terms for what they are asked to sell.
Know that after the leasing, you could have trouble getting your next mortgage. It has happened before. That is part of what makes it important to get the right bonus since it could be a long time before aggressive production begins. Consider how many wells have been drilled, where they are now doing the real drilling, how long before there will be pipes and processing equipment available etc.
thanks rex roae, i think ill check this week and see if i can...Not sure what to do now.....
Yes Rex that is the well,Lippert Rd.You may be correct on the production report David, but they do mention both wells in their 2nd qtr.report and I'm sure they will give some flow data at least on the first one as the share holders will demand it,by the fourth Qtr.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
