So this is a Burket well, in the Upper D. Here's is a Rex report on a different Burket well in Butler Co; Rex Energy completed fracture stimulation and completion operations on its Upper Devonian Shale test well, the Gilliland #11-HB, which had a 2,700 ft. lateral length. The well had a five day average flow rate of approximately 3,060 Mcfe/d
No idea how long the lateral is on this Perry well. 2700 ft is quite short, especially since the Upper D is shallower than the Marcellus. If this well is also a short lateral than that makes the wet gas production even better. They could get triple that if and when they drill laterals in the 7000' range like is possible.
Jim, I'm beginning to wonder if there aren't 2 sets of maps , "cooked" and "uncooked" LOL!
Rich MCF means 3 zeros behind the number 133,350 MCF = 133,350,000 hope this helps
Jim,
The Perry Twp well belongs to Rex and it's listed on the DEP Formations report as a "Burket" well?? Very interesting huh??
Anybody know who is the operator of the Perry Twnp Unit !HD unit? It is reported to have 1,331 Bls of condensate over 101 operating days. 133,350 MCF of gas. For Perry Twp, where the maps show dry gas, that ain't bad. Or is it a Marcellus or Upper D well? Data doesn't show depth of the horizontal leg. Thanks.
A very close friend said that there were guys down near Arthur street North Beaver Township (off of the top of Mt Jackson hill, just below the 376 entrance) measuring and checking where their wells are. They said there is going to be a well going in up by Nicholson's office on a nearby farm. Not sure what company. They talked with my friends mom but I believe that they are not signed with anyone so she didn't have much interest or questions for the guys. They did say that they will be testing their water before and after drilling. So that is my info that I have.....you guys that know how to look into the courthouse records....GO!

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
