My brother and I have property in Addison Township, on White's Creek,  & I wondered if anyone knows what kind of activity is going on there.  We did give permission to Dawson Geophysical to do a seismic survey for Chief Oil & Gas in May of 2010, but never heard anything further from them.  I talked to Chief's geophysicist this spring and he said they were just finishing up surveys in that area - they were delayed because of the weather.  He basically said at that time that they weren't signing any new leases in that area at the moment - basically just wrapping up loose ends.  Sounded to me like maybe they were trying to put themselves in a good position to be purchased by one of the bigger oil companies. 

We'd be interested in leasing, but since the property is heavily wooded, I didn't want it torn up for a well site.

Anyone else have property in that vicinity, or know anything about activity there?
