My latest royalty check showed a drop of $45,000 from last month. I'm only 9 months into receiving royalties. That's a scary decrease.

Zack,
Got statement for May production (July check), Production was back up.
I expect to see a small decline on the August and September checks because of lighting strike and shut-in at Huston, Pa. Processing plant. The first shut-in in May was for Deethanizer hook-ups. Than had lightning strike on those hook-ups 30-45 days later. A few days before the end of June.
Ours has dropped in half too, chspk is way down this month.
prices have dropped ridicuosly because of mild summer weather and flooded pipelines with to much production and not enough market connections-we need more PIPELINES!
Which company? My second payment was sorry from MH/Eclipse
Chesapeake-2/3;statoil was actually up[they are 1/3]
Everyody one here wants to know real numbers,,,but as soon as they get paid they dont talk, thats why most land owners are getting the shorter end of the stick... NEVER a straight answer on here....
So true Guy, so very true.
Remember the old saying...Expectations minus Reality = Disappointment.
And this one,,,Don't spend the money till it's in the bank and the taxes are paid!

We received a check for $9200. That is the only check we have received so far. Comes out to about $3066 a month per well and $322 per acre per well. There are 3 wells @ 15 % with deductions. Mostly NG and Condensate. (9.5 acres) This is a 314 acre unit. Wet gas zone. Hope this helps somebody.
That's what we like to see! Even broke it down to "per acre". AWESOME. Too bad it's such a big secret for some people.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
