Bill, was your a certified letter like Terry said her letter came as?

You're right Terry, it's probably a notice that they are taking over the lease you had with Shell (SWEPI?).  We got ours today in the mail.  Form letter with websites and phone numbers to call with questions/concerns.

Good luck!

Bill

Shell to Rex Energy notice

Got an notice of a certified letter in the post office from Rex Energy.

Will have to sign and pick up on Monday at the post office.  From what

I have heard, if no notice, no interest.....since I am receiving a notice from

Rex, guess they will be taking the Shell lease.

XTO has an office in Warrendale.  You might want to give them a call.  They have always been very friendly when I've spoken with them.

Does anyone know when XTO plans on building the Cratty pad in Franklin Twp (off of unionville and 422)?

That makes sense.  They are setting up water tanks currently in preparation for a frac job on the 2 wells.  Cool. thanks

Ya Archer, saw those myself.

I believe that they are getting ready to "frack" those wells.

Am guessing it has to do with waster water disposal etc.

I've seen several emails from the DEP eFacts site for existing well permits.  The Authorization Type is an "Alternate Waste Management Practice".  Does anyone know what this means?

Here is an example: http://www.ahs.dep.pa.gov/eFACTSWeb/searchResults_singleAuth.aspx?A...

Nice to see a birds eye view on the pipeline lay out around the areas.

I have approximately 180 acres of Oil and Gas interests for sale in Venango County. Properties are split into 7 parcels ranging in size from 4 acres to 100. Located in various townships. Price is lower than you might think. I can sell as a package or individually. PM me for additional information. This discussion is not being started as a pro/con to selling.
