I posted this question to the members of USA, but I'd like to know how the GMS membership feels ?

I will send the results to the Governor, President of the Senate, Speaker of the House, and appropriate committees.

Answer this thread yes or no, or send me a PM.

Thanks,  Mark

Quite frankly makes me sick!!!!!  How long can the government continue to take to give to those that have not earned it.   i

Olive Sue,

Can I take that as a No vote ?

no, no, NO,NO!!!!!!!!!

Bob,

Sad that it comes from a Republican. Just proves they are all the same Dem or Rep. They all need to go.

When Republicans start acting like Demorats vote them out.

So right Bob we should be able to keep the money we make off OUR LAND no one helped me with taxes or up keep over  the yrs. vote NO

No we do not.

We are of the opinion that we should not
initiate another reason to stall development.

We also believe that we all pay enough taxes
just the way things are.

Mark,

I support no new taxes, anywhere. So this is a big NO!

No. The plan seems politically motivated by the Govenor to get votes in the next election.

Bought my land 20 years ago, My Taxes go up every 2 years. The State of Ohio has never help me pay the Taxes. Why should I give them more of my money.   VOTE NO

Kathi,

Actually I don't think this is politically motivated. The Governor is even bucking his own party.

I really don't understand this.

Either way it's a bad idea.

Mark,

As I understand it.

This is to fulfill a campaign promise to lower property taxes.

My vote is:

NO!

We are at a very vulnerable time in the development of this play. To add taxes now could kill that golden goose that will bring much more revenue to this state than a severance tax could.
