Here is a link to a Map of wells drilled in Lycomng County as of April 24, 2009, coded per the company that drilled. I will furnish another link to the addresses of these wells. More wells continue to be drilled. I know of Penn and Cogan House Twsp. Link to map:

More signings--See third article down (dated Sept 26, 2009), citing Chesapeake signing in Wyoming County for $5,750 per acre. Also "Background" article to right noting Barnett leases went for $18,000 per acre in strong areas and Pennsylvania is thought to potentially be as good. Interesting times. Sorry this off topic for Lycoming, but perhaps it's coming. Link:

I have heard or read 4 separate reports of $5-$6,000 per acre in the past 2 weeks. Not in Lycoming County, but Bradford, Tioga, Susquehanna and Sullivan. Clearly they are taking a long term look (longevity of these wells is now thought to be 45-60 years), NG price is slowly firming up (futures bumping on $5 and Marcellus worth $1 to $1.60 more than spot) and more players are coming into the market.

Hope it moves south.
