Comment by Barry Sheehan on November 17, 2011 at 8:50am All, I'm coming to the party way late, but wanted to see if it's too late to get in on a lease. I have 11 acres near Kimbolton and just bought it in early August not knowing anything about all this oil and gas stuff going on. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Comment by Nelson Roe on November 13, 2011 at 8:37am I am thinking about the same Tom. I am sure that there is still some unleased acreage here, but it has to be dwindling down... Also, I just came across an article from the Daily Jeffersonian (local newspaper) that tries to shine some light on the fracking process. Here is the link if anyone wants to read it, or share it... http://www.daily-jeff.com/financial/2011/11/13/business-opinion-myt...

Comment by scott peterson on November 10, 2011 at 11:29pm Jim, is there an acreage limitation? The release does not stipulate.
Comment by scott peterson on November 10, 2011 at 7:49am Jim is there a min acreage requirement per landowner? That is Beaver only in Noble too, right?
Comment by DM on November 10, 2011 at 7:45am That's great! How many acres was in the group?
Comment by Philip Brutz on November 10, 2011 at 2:50am Here is a Google Earth Map that I made of the current well permits. You will need Google Earth to view it. You can click on each well and download the Survey Plat PDF and the Well Permit TIFF files. If anyone wants to help me with this map I plan adding more wells as they are permitted. If anyone in the area of one these wells wants to take photos of the well we could add those to the map.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
