I have been to many meetings concerning companies trying to do business in NYS. This man, (hang) has popped up with his data, telling tax payers and communities that this industry is a "bad" idea and will contaminate water, even cause cancer in some cases. He shows his "hotspots" of contamination, then the fear is on! He has costed villages and taxpayers money to check on his "data". Most is bogus! Why is this happening? I brought up this subject recently in the Tioga County, Pa. forum, but I feel I should raise the issue to a wider audience. As I am informed, there seems to be no law in Pennsylvania limiting the size of a unit or pool around a given well. The assumption is that the unit will be around the size of a section - 640 acres- a square mile.
