Charles,

As long as I'm able to talk personally with Des tonight I plan to get some answers on his lack of communication and also relay to him how many people are frustrated with him in regards to this.  It seems to be a common theme.

I joined on with Des some time ago but honestly don't know the formal name of his group.  I think the name has changed at least a time or two.  I guess I haven't been too concerned because I'm able to back out of his group at any time until I actually sign a lease through him.  I am going to his meeting tonight and will find out more information on the whole thing including where he is at with offers.  I am also watching a land group that John Lusk (he comments on this forum) has put together and I may join with him if Des isn't able to negotiate the terms I feel we should receive.  John has indicated they are shooting for $5,000/acre and 20% royalty and personally the sign on bonus amount is what I've had in mind for about 10 months now.  I wouldn't begin to think I could get that amount going it alone but staying with a group I think we have a good shot at getting that amount.  Time will tell.

That's been my problem with them. The story changes every time you talk to them. What they put on paper is not what they tell you verbally.

Back at the first of the month, Bonnie Cunningham from NALS was offering a $3850/18% Wishgard lease. You could call NALS or Wishgard directly if you want to know what today's line is.

I received their lease last week.  I believe it is $3,000 and 16.5% royalty but it is at home so don't quote me.  Personally I am not interested in anything Wishgard has to offer.  Earlier this year they solicited me for $2,000/acre minus their 8% fee at the time and I was told by them at that time how great it was and that I should sign in order to keep from missing out.  Now they're at $3,000.  They seem to be behind the times and I think we (those in a good group) will be able to sign for so much more.
