Scott, we got a letter from Principle Energy about buying our Royalty Conveyances. I guess if you need money NOW it would be ok. BUT, I am suspicious. It is a gamble. We didn't bother to call to get their offer. It would be money NOW, but it may be a pittance compared to what you will get when and if they drill under your property. This is the first we have heard of Royalty Conveyance! Makes me VERY suspicious.

Are you part of a drilling unit that is already in production?
I have been contacted by Pinnacle energy concerning selling them my royalty percentage. They are wanting to purchase all or some of the acreage for a 5 year term . I thought the offer was ridiculously low. Have any of you been contacted by them ?

Wonder how long it will take for the offers to reach this amount in Harrison and Carroll county...
Kenneth L. Balliet, a forestry and business management educator with the Penn State Cooperative Extension, recently took a trip to Fort Worth to see the economic impacts of those deposits. He said leases are being signed for $18,000 per acre in areas where production has proven strong.
