I find it interesting that the increase in offers to buy all or a select part of your mineral rights/royalties has just happened to come at the same time as the Utica is being put down in reports as "not as productive as expected", "the oil isn't as good as expected", and other Utica "woe stories." Now if all those "woe is Utica" reports are true, why would people be knocking on our doors with offers to buy? Call me a conspiracy theorist but I think I'll hang onto mine.

What are your thoughts on the offer ? Do you have any wells drilled close by to get a feel of what you may have beneath your feet ? I would suspect you are in a real good area . I have had it expressed to me that virtually all of Harrison County will be in production at some point.

Earl it was a written offer from bounty . I still get offers on a regular basis. Some are for a good bit less also . I guess it depends a lot on who the company is . They have been coming for the last year or so I'd say. Which companies have contacted you ?
