Dan, do you know what the different colors in the the line mean(blue black/solid blue)? Also what is going to be on the southern portion of that line? Reason I ask is because its right across the street from my property.
Here's a map showing roughly where they want to put the Chesapeake/Utica East Ohio Midstream hub. This is an overlay using a portion of the map available on Chesapeake's midstream partner's website. It puts the hub in the vicinity of Scio.
Chesapeake has announced 900 million dollars in plant investments in Columbiana and Harrison counties, with partners. See the link...

Chesapeake has announced that they will be building their own fractionation and processing facilities. There will be a main plant in Columbiana County, with some sort of hub facility in Harrison. Read the press release here. A $900M investment by them and partners. Things are happening.
The Wagner #1 is bounded by Jockey Hollow RD on the north, Belmont Co line on the south, County Rd (Busby?) on the west, and the Cadiz-Flushing RD on the east. I think it is in section 22 of Athens Twp. Now, I could be wrong, but I think that's where it is. The pad has been in, and they are drilling now.
Randy
I'm not positive, but I believe the Wagner well is the one located at the Zion Christian Retreat outside of Flushing. There is a drilling rig there now that can be seen from Route 519 between New Athens and Route 22.
Randall, Where is the Wagner #1 well located? is it off of Rt 9 in New Athens?
The state DNR has just updated the permit/drilling activity reports for 3-4-2012. I see that Gulfport has spudded the Wagner #1. Hope it's a monster.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
