Here's a royalty killer - gas down to $2.30 and dropping. I, for one, won't mind if they wait 3/4 years to drill on me. Maybe the price of gas will be back up to 6/8 dollars by then. See the link....

The state DNR has updated the permit/activity reports for the first week of 2012. Carroll Co. still looks to be the hot spot, and Enervest is ramping up their permits. Not much happening in Harrison at this time, and with gas down to $2.50 and dropping, maybe that's a good thing. See the link....

Jerry, Irish Greek is 1 mile west of New Rumley, Ohio.

Where is Irish Creek in reference to other land marks on SR 646?

One of my primary telephone contacts in Harrison County just told me that Chesapeake energy is completing a land survey to cite a drilling pad close to Irish Creek, proximally one-mile east of SR 646.  A permit for this location does not appear on the DNR website yet.

It appears as though Dan was right when he said real estate taxes were going up in Harrison County. I just sent in my check which was 280% higher than last year.
