I saw this video on the main board about leasing. The speaker is a Canfield attorney who works O&G. See the link....

Here's an extensive list of current articles on the Utica Play, if you have the time to read. See the link.....

I believe the Wagner well is located in the southwest corner of Athens Twp, just above the Belmont Co line. There is a Wagner property  listed as 348.9 acres which is south of Jockey Hollow Rd, with an adjoining parcel off Twp Rd 264. Gulfport has stated all along that they intended to start drilling in early 2012. Wishgard leased alot of acreage for Gulfport in the area.

Does anyone know where in Athens twp this permit is located?

The DNR has updated the permit/drilling activity reports for last week. Gulfport has applied for their first permit, which is in Harrison Co. See the link.....

Josh and AT, can you post this information in the "Pipeline Easments" discussion that Al started?  I agree that this is a very important topic.  Maybe we should be able to get $125 per foot, and maybe we should be able to get landowner-friendly easment contracts, but unless we discuss this and do some research, we won't ever know what is possible, and we will be kicking ourselves for giving away too much too quickly.

I'm not sure how it works when they follow an existing pipeline, however, I spoke with a fellow in Belmont county this past weekend who lead a large landowner group signing who indicated you should be able to get $125.00 per linear foot for a pipeline traveling across your property.
