not to get into a political discussion at all , that is not why i am saying this , but i believe that the president is for the proper regulation so that the oil companies have to follow rules opposed to having free reign.

I ask the same question. he should of had 0 votes. and John Patterson also. hes against oil and fracking too.

Might I ask how did Ashtabula County vote for Obama when some of you will possibly be considered  as rich targets for  Obama to tax if the oil boom comes through for you?

elliemae, i believe at the last meeting that they said that they wanted everyones 6 month agreement to end on the same day on june 1st so that meant to me that the deadline was january 1  so that peoples agreements were not expiring during negioations. imo

Thank you Joseph-Ohio. I live in Crawford county Pa, just across the border from you. I was hoping to gain some insight on the happenings by reading this message board. Range Resources has a test well drilled in the lower part of our county and another company is drilling another soon, plus seismic testing is about to begin. Other than that, I don't know anything for sure as unlike YOUR great state of Ohio, Pennsylvania doesn't put out many maps of anything in our area, I think they consider us the unimportant butt hole part of the state. I try to extrapolate and project from yours. Thank you. You guys are lucky, your state is taking this more serious than PA. all they care about is the Marcellus.

We would like to see your closing sentence 'not much happening in Ashtabula yet though..." change to exactly the opposite !
