The lawyers at Rice came up with their final decision about the parcels in Greene county. My relatives and I get 100% mineral rights and royalties. Divided up my two sisters and I get 20% of 54 acres. Dont know much about this but what will that amount to? Its wet gas, 2wells drilled and producing. Just waiting to get permits for pipelines approved. How long does that take? Thanks. Debbie Pennell

That is a true statement, you might be able to get a spouse waiver. I have used those for Rice before.

My relatives snd I signed a lease with Rice . They are claiming that because my cousins wife wont sign the lease th hat it will prevent the rest of us from getting anything. Is that really true? Shr is not an heir, just married to one. Debbie

I was contacted by rice person who claimed they were offering a bigger &/acre than $3500 and 18pc depending on circumstances in. morris. However never said actual amount. Could be??

Hello has anyone heard of lease by Rice energy offering 5400 hundred an acre and twenty percent royality in Greene County. I heard about it but don't know if its true or not

@ Doug Miller   do your home work and talk to people befor you sign it seems low to me  matbe not the marcellus shale but it must be worth it or they would not want it. hope some one on this site can help you

I have a lease with Chesapeake for the Marcellus shale.  I was contacted by Kriebel Resourses about leasing the land above the Marcellus since we reserved it in the lease.  The offer is $20 per acre per year and a 1/8 royalty.  The term is 5 years.  Does anyone have any ideas about this?  Has anyone else leased with Kriebel?

wow.. I'm so glad I found this place and now I hope that I can get the information that I need to come up with a fair market price to sign an amendment to a oil gas lease date back in 1919 in greene county centre township.  I have been contacted by an og company for a amendment to a lease of my mother's since her passing away. they first offered me 1450.00 sign on with 5.00 acre in March of this year, then I was given a second offer of 3550.00 offer with still the 5.00 acre in September, and then another offer came at the end of september with a final notice of 5550.00 and 5.00 acre... but was informed that one well was used for storage, and the other well was to be drilled, but when I contacted the epa of pa I was told that they had production in 2009 on one well, but the thing is my mother had passed away in 2004 and was given the information of her passing and my older sister signed a amendment stating that she will receive royalty right payments  when she signed in 2009, however, the og company mailed the royalties check in my mother's name in 2009 and 2010 so my sister was unable to cash them, so what do you think I need to do on my situation... so I have her send the oil gas a letter to void her signed lease or what.. also needing so help with the current rates on amendments...
