Tad, If you have more than 5 or 10 acres in Harrison you should be able to get leased by either Chesapeake, Hess, or Gulfport. If you are in a township that borders Guernsey, Belmont, or Jefferson you may want to try to join one of their groups. Check those sites for current info. There are any number of brokers or lawyers who will let you into their groups for 7% to 10% of your bonus if you want to go that route. I know Dan had the open invitation to join the KWGD group posted on the HCOLG news tab, and Al and Dan had the info posted here on the comment wall, but with the limited time frame it could have been missed.

Consol has provided an operations update at the link below. Notice the number of wells they are putting on a pad. Also notice the statement that they don't have to drill just to hold leases by production, which significantly reduces their drilling costs.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
