The Ohio DNR posted the 4th quarter of 2019 production report yesterday 2/28/20. See the link below...
Short Creek Township ..... Received offers from three flippers in the last two weeks. One of the offers looks like an elementary school kid whipped up some marketing in 10 seconds and dropped it in the mailbox. Two of the mailings had zero company name , only a phone number and flippers name. Not a lot of information or details but two of the mailings pointed out the fact that they are “not flippers “ .....ha ha Ha
I was offered $3200 to buy 100% of my mineral rights ...He received a dial tone quickly.
More on the decline in gas prices/royalties.

Nat gas prices in 2019 were the lowest in three years, due to oversupply.

Antero reported their 1st qtr. 2019 earnings last Monday. They are reducing their operation down to one drilling rig, operating in the Marcellus wet gas window in West Virginia. Any activity in the Utica will be limited to completion of a few DUCS. It appears that Ascent is now the only major operator with significant drilling in Harrison Co. Check out their presentation on the link. There's a lot of info there.
Gulfport reported their 1st qtr. 2019 earnings yesterday. Bottom line is they were profitable but have reduced their Utica activity to completing their DUCS and running only one drilling rig in the dry gas window. Their focus is on their SCOOP Play in Oklahoma and repurchasing their common shares as they continue to drop in price. It would not surprise me if they sell their Utica operation in the future. See the link......
Would anyone know about renewing a shut in clause ?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
