Well, Mark West has finally announced its plans for the lines between the Cadiz Industrial Park and the Hopedale Fractionator. They are installing two 20 inch lines. We are paid in full and they plan to have it completed by January 10th. We negotiated for 18 months using Matt Warnock at Bricker and Eckler. He did a great job and Mark West helped with the legal expenses.

Thankyou , I appreciate the info.

Ohio EPA reviews applications for air emissions and has regs in place to limit same. Unfortunately the Ohio Revised Code exempts O&G and related pipeline system equipment from local noise regulations. Noise would be my primary concern and it would be good to contact the owner, Utica Gas Services (part of CHK), of this installation and ask what the noise level will be at the perimeter of their property.
Can anyone tell me how worried we should be to live near a large compressor station going into the Hub in Scio? If you watch some of the videos out there they will scare the heck out of you. I was looking for some unbiased opinions of the safety of the station in reference to air polution.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
