Does anybody know what is going on with the well on Rte. 551?
The East Lack well site horizontal part runs under quite a few of our acres and we've been hearing rumors that the well is a bust - anyone heard anything along those lines? We've been hearing that the liquid part of the gas is too dirty and not worth cleaning up. Wouldn't they test for that before they started drilling?
Chevron-Hossack Road-Jackson Twp.-Mercer County, Drove past the property today and they have heavy equipment on site building the entrance road. Also noticed at the chevron site in East Lack. Twp where they drilled over a year ago that the large water holding tanks that they used for fracking are still on that site. Maybe they have future plans for that site. The site for Chevron on Charleston road in Jefferson Twp now has the large tanks installed for fracking water. We can look for that in the near future as they start to truck water to the site. Well action in Mercer County seems very slow at the moment but as Springtime warms up possibly the drilling activity will follow. Hilcorp has a lot of permit applications in progress.
John L. your not the only one signed up, and thats not the only mistake I'v seen on the alerts page.
On a good note if there right (aka THE alerts) the Mcknight pad in Pymatuming twp., the Morton pad in Sandy lake, and Douds pad in Delaware twp. have all been approved for there storm water. Drill permits next. Amazing how close some of these are to Halcons wildcat wells! good luick to Hilcorp.
must be. I'm only signed up for mercer county alerts...jl
this came across from PA DEP e-facts.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
