Comment by WTF on April 3, 2014 at 6:59am I heard yesterday that Hilcorp has located a well site in Coolspring Twp. on Cornell road just west of the airport road. That would be the first well in Coolspring Twp.

Comment by Jim Litwinowicz on March 27, 2014 at 3:55pm JR, Chris; interesting that HK got permits for Allam and Rainbow just for vertical wells. Perhaps they are going to drill to get more core samples. Maybe do more tests to see how to better frac the shale. Not knowing what cores they pulled previously, maybe they are going collect cores from other strata, either shallower or deeper. And they can amend those permits to allow for horizontals if they find something they like.
