NAPE in Texas February 4,5,6,7. Lets hope that some positive information comes out at this conference concerning what may happen in Mercer, Venango, and Crawford Counties in 2014. Comments by JohnL and WTF have been informative about pipelines, but of course when you read something that sounds positive you want more details The industry for its own reasons, both legitimate and illegitimate, is often more secretive than we wish them to be. I wish I had something substantive but I don't. I thank JohnL and WTF for their efforts and sincerely hope that they both keep digging and keep posting.

WTF-I'm still seeing Bluegrass activity (ROW leases) on the GMS main site. I'm guessing the easy ROW is along the TGP line and all the current ROW activity is to the south. If the Bluegrass line ever gets the go ahead it looks like it will end or begin somewhere near Mercer. Again, good for us!

John, My understanding on it is that the 700 line will tie in at the Jefferson Montgomery property. If you drive by that property you will see where there has been a lot of surveying on the south end of the property and also a lot of stakes on the north end behind the Atlas well . Do you know if Hillcorp also has a drilling permit for that site? Last night I talked to an employee of TGP and he verified that the Bluegrass people were also going to run a line on the TGP right of ways but all that talk has now cooled and he does not know the outcome of their project.

For what its worth, which may be nothing, I noted this under another thread a while back, but something seems to be in the works on the Lutz farm property south of 318 across from the Lackawannock Twp building.  A crew was back there over the summer taking soil samples.  There are ribbons up all over the place.  My neighbor went back and talked to the workers and they said it was for a proposed compressor station to include a right of way through an 8 acre plot off of Orchard road as an access road.  As of two weeks ago, there are now two posts ribboned off on that property.  I had two guys walk past my game camera on land that borders the farm.  One had a transit.  I'm not sure if the farm property changed hands yet.

Elnathan- since I posted I talked with a former TGP employee who said it was just a matter of opening or closing some valves. He talked like it wasn't a big deal to reverse the flow. All good for W PA!

JohnL,   I talked to a guy who worked at TGP and he told me they had already reversed the flow. That was last year. He sounded like he knew what he was talking about.

WTF- the article comments that the 700 line will tie into existing infrastructure in Jefferson TWP. Where would that be? Jefferson Montgomery facility? I saw that Hilcorp has ROW's recorded from the McGhee pad to Montgomery property (Stiester).

The Bluegrass pipeline is still a mystery as to where it starts.

John and Sam, This article might clear up some of the questions about the pipelines.   http://www.ncnewsonline.com/topstories/x134994005/Hickory-Bend-pipe...

All very puzzling but I appreciate the comments by JohnL and by WTF which attempt tp make sense out of what is going on. Again, I wonder if any clarifying information will come out of the Midstream Conference currently going on In Pittsburgh? I also wonder what effect, if any, Shell's decision to build, or not to build, the plant in Beaver County will have upon these proposed pipelines?

WTF- I'm thinking they're separate projects all of which are sharing the existing TGP ROW. That's what has me puzzled as to why there are at least 3 separate pipelines (including Kinder Morgan) all originating in Mercer. The attached map was what Williams presented at the Grove City public meetings. Of the 3, I would guess Bluegrass may be the odd man out if one of then has to drop their plans. If not, we must be sitting on a pile of gas/oil.
