Gas Heir-

we've been hearing the Hosack Rd rumors for a while now. If I remember right, Hilcorp recently swapped leases with Chevron in Jackson TWP . Probably headed there soon. TGP lines cross north of Jackson Center.

Does anyone know what is happening in Jackson Township? I hear that things are happening in the areas around Jackson, but nothing in that specific area of Mercer County.

The engineer from Shell said they will tie into the Tennessee Gas line, for whatever that's worth.

JR-
I've wanting to take a drive but maybe I won't now. I'm going to guess that the flare was some sort of flow test and it will remain shut in or rested. Not sure where they would tie that well into. No major pipelines near that I recall. The flare looked bigger than what I remember seeing on the James well. It looked pretty impressive.

It doesn't seem that anyone cares, since there were no comments to my flare post below, but the flare was snuffed sometime yesterday.  Don't really know if that's a good sign, bad sign, or neither. lol

At least a post here and there keeps Sam from posting one of his "Dead Cat" comments.  haha

Swepi Palmer well flaring this morning.  Interesting that there was no "resting" period after fracking.  I understand they started flaring it Saturday.  The iphone photo is poor quality, but the flare is VERY impressive to the naked eye!

Archer Man-Thanks for the good info. We r located in pymatuning twp mercer co pa and hilcorp is renewing old permit to drill on drake farm real close to us. Hilcorp tells us they are still drilling this spring on our farm. They put new stakes up just recently on our property but it is surprising since we r approx. 1 mile from each other.

WTF: I don't know any good info, but it appears that Delaware twp is a new area of interest. Wonder what the plans are? Hopefully big plans...

Chestnut Run: I believe that well pad spacing varies, mainly it depends on how much acreage the company can hold by production as a unit. I've seen pads fairly close together, but I believe they were producing units in opposite directions. I also think that companies have different ways of defining their units. You won't know until you get a division order in the mail. Hopefully you have lots of acres in a small unit!!
