Site prep work has begun on the Hilcorp/McCollough well in Delaware Township. Located on Route 58, Mercer Greenville road about one mile north of Delaware Grove. Also about 100 yards north of the intersection of rt. 58 and Cochran road. I have heard talk that Hilcorp is bringing another 6 rigs into this area after the 1st of the year. Has anyone seen any info about this?
Does anyone have knowledge of how close well pads are typically placed to each other?
My wish for the new year is that I am part of a drilling unit!
They've been snooping around in Lake twp for possible well sites!
I don't know where the Van Pelt site is at, but I did see that Hilcorp has other new submittals for the Pulaski area as well as Delware Twp. Everyone I talk to says that the rumor is that they are gearing up for a busy 2014 drilling schedule. I have no facts to back that up, but it is a common statement that I hear from others that live in the area. My guess would be that if the pipeline infrastructure gets installed then they will have adequate capacity to get product to market. I believe that this was the logistical challenge in Washington County, PA a few years ago. Lots of pipeline has been installed in Washington Co and it appears that lots of drilling is going on.
Mr Cory; right back at ya.
Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving everyone!

But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
