Site prep work has begun on the Hilcorp/McCollough well in Delaware Township. Located on Route 58, Mercer Greenville road about one mile north of Delaware Grove. Also about 100 yards north of the intersection of rt. 58 and Cochran road. I have heard talk that Hilcorp is bringing another 6 rigs into this area after the 1st of the year. Has anyone seen any info about this?

Does anyone have knowledge of how close well pads are typically placed to each other?

My wish for the new year is that I am part of a drilling unit!

They're projecting the Pennant Midstream pipeline to be completed the second quarter of 2014. I would expect Hilcorp to ramp up it's drilling around the Jefferson Montgomery gathering facility . It will be interesting to see where they drill. Most of our property sits in Jefferson TWP. about 3 miles from that site and Hilcop holds our deep rights.

They've been snooping around in Lake twp for possible well sites!

I don't know where the Van Pelt site is at, but I did see that Hilcorp has other new submittals for the Pulaski area as well as Delware Twp.  Everyone I talk to says that the rumor is that they are gearing up for a busy 2014 drilling schedule.  I have no facts to back that up, but it is a common statement that I hear from others that live in the area.  My guess would be that if the pipeline infrastructure gets installed then they will have adequate capacity to get product to market.  I believe that this was the logistical challenge in Washington County, PA a few years ago.  Lots of pipeline has been installed in Washington Co and it appears that lots of drilling is going on.

I see Hilcorp has a new permit in Delaware TWP. Delaware Van Pelt. Anyone know where that's located?
