Yes I heard st the feed mill that they sold the farm to a processing plant and the minerals to Bounty. I just assumed, after looking at the Mercer County Recorders site that it was Halcon. Someone with more business savvy than I should look at the Halcon agreement on the recorder's site. It is an agreement that says Halcon has until February of 2015 to make a decision, but the what they are agreeing to is Greek to me! I'm thrilled that some hard working dairy farmers are making some money!

Ok, I thought maybe the owner sold the rights to bounty and then sold part of the farm to Halcon? Either way that farm was a good investment for him, he's made a lot of money off of it.

James, I can't confirm a sale of property.  If so, nothing has been recorded yet.

Did Halcon buy acreage after the bounty purchase?

You are correct.  They sold 110 acres of mineral rights to Bounty.

You can correct me if I'm wrong but my sources say they sold minerals to Bounty. They sold land to Halcon!

This just in!  I think we got ourselves a fractionation plant!  Just hit eFACTS

This has been one of the rumored properties.  10 miles north of Mercer on RT 19; west side of the road.  These people recently sold 110 acres to Bounty minerals.

Since the site is so dead...  The water line to Lake Latonka from the Swepi Palmer well is getting pieced together at a rapid pace now.  Two very large water pumps are sitting side by side at the north end of Lake Latonka above the bridge.  I guesstimated the length of the pipeline at 2.75 miles using Google Earth.

for the "locals" who need to know what EDUMACATION means.

Per the Urban dictionary.......Used to refer to an education that someone received at a crappy school, or a lack of education all together.

Oh, by the way.  Lackawannoc is spelled with a K, not to be confused with East Lackawannock which sits to the east of Lackawannock twp.

Just a little humor, no offense taken, really.....jl

I went by the Chevron site at the McCullough site the other day.  That is the biggest drilling rig I have ever seen!  The drill platform is 3 stories tall alone!  Impressive equipment.  I wonder how long the laterals are going to be?
