I'm getting information that suggests HK is trying to lock up land for a potential pipeline between it's Mercer county wells and their proposed Venango processing plant. Anyone been approached for a memorandum of ROW from maybe the Pilgram or Yoder well areas with a heading to intersect the Allam to Armstrong Facility pipeline? Anybody able to confirm and/or clarify my info? Maybe this is old news too....Dunno. Thanks.
Sam, I am in sandy Creek TWP. Yes I was part of Mt Jackson 4. The reason my property was rejected was poor communication on M&P's end. It was as simple as emailing a single document to Halcon and following up with a few phone calls.
Brett: In what township is your property located. Were you part of Mount Jackson 4? I thought M&P/CX had agreed to reduce their fees for the leasehold acreage that Halcon originally rejected?? A recent CX newsletter said that CX had talked with 6 companies and that one company (apparently not Halcon) was interested in acquiring CX's 23000 acres but wanted an additional 40,000 acres. It was not clear to me that the 40,000 acres needed to be in Mercer County. The newsletter speaks for itself! If you do not have it and you send me your e-mail address, I will forward it to you. Perhaps Jim Litwinowicz has more information than I do??
James Brink,
at the time of the original signing of the lease I was told that the 8% fee that would be taken from our bonus pay was pd to CX and MP and as part of that fee M&P would serve as legal rep should any issues arise concerning the lease terms. Not sure if I remember seeing it in writing though and not really banking on it based on my previous experience. Please keep in mind I do not post this with any sort of anger or resentment. Just think those who are still waiting should know that they if they have issues with their property that can be cleared up merely through documented proof ...they , the ,land owner, may want to consider direct communication with the Lessee
Brett: What agreement do you have with CX/MP concerning the enforcement of the terms of your lease?
All I can say is thank God I didn't listen to CX Lawyer who told me my Halcon lease was "Dead in the Water" and had 'No Chance of being funded" and took things into my own hands thanks to others on this site who connected me directly to Halcon!! after MONTHS of the run around and being totally ignored by M&P I had our situation cleared up in a few days and was completely funded 2 months later. Ya ......you are welcome for the $10,000.00 CX & MP...... you did partially earn it by producing the original deal, however I was surprised how easy you gave up on the follow through. My prayer is you will honor the contact between us should any "difficulties" arise with the terms of our lease.
I don't know for sure but I don't think it is Hilcorp. Hope to know all the answers in a few weeks
Jesse-I just checked CX's Mercer county web site. No changes noted there.
RoughRice : No activity at the Reges site. Still virgin ground.
According to eFACTS, Halcon has applied for 4 additional drill & operate permits on the Reges property: 2-H, 3-H, 4-H and 5-H. The permit for Reges 1-H was issued on 5/16. The site is near Donation Road and Henry Road in Greenville. That's all I know. Has anyone seen any activity at this site?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
