I am sure M&P / CX will explain everything to the folks up in Venango County at the upcoming meeting! We don't need to keep discussing this because we all know M&P has a secret document that will force Halcon to pay everyone. Don't you folks all remember from the various M&P / CX meetings; Halcon had to take all the acreage or none  of the acreage! Oh I forgot, M&P / CX didn't put that in writing and they got to divvy up about $5,000,000, after  Halcon didn't take all the acreage. If M&P / CX  told you Halcon had to take all the acreage; well M&P / CX may have had their had their fingers crossed so it may not mean anything. I still hope for the sake of the landowners, that M&P's "magic document" works to bail out all the landowners. I wonder if M&P will still want their 5% commission from any money Halcon may have to ultimately pay those landowners? Meanwhile, the M&P / CX leviathan rolls on For an upcoming meeting near you, see the CX Energy website.(  It would be nice if some of the affected landowners videotaped some of the M&P / CX Energy meetings. Probably, I am hoping for too much and such evidence is not available...but we can all hope!

I wondered if this was going to happen eventually. Let the court decide. I hope it becomes a class action!

I am sure by now that everyne has read today's Sharon Hearld article or heard of the new CX/M&P/Hlacon lawsuit filed in Mercer County Commons Pleas Court on 2-22-12.

Now that is funny...

This just in:  According to a recent study(county site search this am), Samuel J. Orr, Tri-County Coroner, has now pronounced dead each of the county sites that make up the tri-county area; Mercer, Venango and Crawford, on multiple occasions since November 2012 with Venango leading the tally with six apparent deaths followed by Mercer with three and Crawford, two.  Representatives from each of the sites are disputing Mr. Orr's findings and have declared in unison that they are in fact still alive.  The DA's offices in each county are investigating the fraudulent reports of death.  A source close to the case says Mr. Orr is steadfastly defending the multiple reports of death.  In other news...

Almost 3 weeks.... This site is deader than a dead cat!

See the thread "M&P Being Sued" on the General Discussions portion of the website. If you think you may be a victim of M&P, you may learn something. There are some smart people who have offered to analyze your situation for free at least that is how I understand their posts.

This was stated in an article about Halcon written yesterday in a web site called Seeking Alpha:  The first results from Utica and Tuscaloosa Marine Shale will be released in Mar
2013 and Feb 2013 respectively.    Berk - thanks for the link, those maps are helpful!

I was noticing that too John L. Very interesting to say the least!

Looks like the same PowerPoint from their Goldman Sachs presentation. The maps are interesting in that they show the oil/wet/dry gas lines. What's really interesting is the "HK leased area" in Mercer County a majority of which they broke their contract with. It appears that they don't care who they lie to whether it's a landowner or investor.
