Is there any updates on the Phillips well? I hear that the frac is complete and the drillout has begun. Can anyone confirm this? Is there any signs of a flare yet?

Halcon's latest. A couple good looking maps included for our region.

Were the CX leases like Shell's ROW agreements? As in "Option to Lease." Sure seems so. That or Houston O&G lawyers > Western PA "energy"(LMAO) lawyers. We'll see.

There is a front page article in the Record Argus today about a CX letter dated 01/24/13 to residents of Greenville, Sheakleyville, Fredonia and Jamestown boroughs.  The meat of the article was that Halcon was walking away from leases in those areas mainly due to small parcel sizes.  So Halcon racks up another group of unhappy landowners.  At least they didn't use the meteorite line again...

stevenson site ...highest point in mercer county..on coulter school road...area open up by polminex in 1983-84 era.  They had 13 or 14 wells in the area that have had production of sorts all these years.. continous...thus a very favorable situation for big oil...no big payout to tie up acerage...no big royality ....just 1980 payout in a 2013 world...if you own an oil company where would you drill first ?

What road is that on? Who's property?

That's not suprising, there is a Tenessee gas main transmission line right there...

Two new SWEPI permits applied for!  Mills pad, just east of Rt 19 on Rt 358 in Perry Twp. and Snyder pad on Hughey Road just a few miles west of Rt 19 and south of Rt 358 in Perry and Otter Creek Twps.  Congratulations the land owners involved!

JR the halcon wells that are being drilled and drilled in north west mercer are the old carrizo permitted pads. yoder and phillips pad and the brugler pad in ohio were all carrizo before halcons buy out.
