Sam:
You are right also no mention of the two in western Crawford county.
Berk; great article, lots of solid info. Thanks!

Check e-facts. I believe one or two of Halcon's permits for Venango are still listed as "pending". Maybe I will get my nerve up and call Halcon's Investor Relations # and ask that question. Maybe Pa has been slow to issue final approval or maybe Halcon purposely or negligently did not do something that is required to complete the process. I checked on one of the numbered permits and it looked like 2 of the 4 things done by the Department had been completed! I hope this is helpful.
Re: latest on Halcon. Interesting to say the least. Skip to pages 25 and 26 of the presentation. There is no mention whatsover of the Rainbow and SCC Glista wells(the other two wells around Polk), not even as permitted or planned, yet there are two "planned" wells in north central Mercer county that I am completely unaware of. Could this be an oversight or a mistake?
I really understood most of this article.

I think the Jamestown site is a good bet.
Jim, I didnt drive past it today. Most of the rig I passed on Rte 62 almost to Sandy Lake, I wonder if the rig is heading to the Jamestown site?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
