Halcon finally paid someone! Congrats!
HALCON PAYS!!! Got the check for my company in the mail this morning. While I understand many won't share my sentiments, Thank you CX-Energy and M&P. $3,542 per acre and a great lease. I just hope that those left out will end up doing as well or better down the road.
Now I am hoping our re submitted paper work showing our old lease as surrendered makes it through the tangled web of desk tops and emails in time to include us in the plans for our area.
That is great news. Congrats to both of you. On a side note, Jim I have 50 acres in Clarion County, Madison Twp., unleased. If you hear from EQT or any of the other players with an offer let me know. I'll be interested.
Just wanted to Share some good news. I was just down at the Shaekelyville Post Office and was informed that people were receiving their Halcon checks today. I am very encouraged by this.
That's funny because I was just going to post the question if anyone had received their check from Halcon yet. Great news for Group #1 land owners!
Sam; to the right of your name on any post you put up there is a little blue "x" Click on that and your post will be deleted and you can post a corrected one. Maybe cut and paste the original first and then just correct the typos.
Its been a good discussion and hopefully it helped people understand things better. Hope every one has a great Christmas and a very healthy and very prosperous New Year.
I am a poor typist and made several typos in last post to Comment Wall. Why are we unable to have the 15 minute grace period to edit or correct mistakes when we post to the Comment Wall? If we post to a thread we have the 15 minute grace period to make corrections. Maybe I should have started this as a thread!
And also Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Actually Sam I do Agree with the bold print thing. I was only AFTER I signed that I realized it was auto. I never attended one meeting.......never was able because of schedule conflicts. I signed through the mail. Admittedly I was to caught up in the "urgency" and excitement to look over with a fine tooth comb. in retrospect i would have signed anyway but been more aware of the dates and the progress......or lack there of. I am merely saying to sign something and not know the whole deal the the fault of the signer no matter what the intentions of the entity they are singing with. I only know you and Jim through this forum but from what I have seen you are two men of equal integrity and have earned my respect thus far. I have learned a lot from your inputs and will do my best to add to the conversation as intelligently as I can in the future. Thanks again for being willing to offer your valuable insights here gentlemen!

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
